I am interested in the ways our earlier experiences continue to influence how we think, feel and relate to ourselves and to other people. Patterns that once helped us to cope can become limiting later in life, affecting our relationships, choices or sense of who we are. Therapy offers a chance to become more aware of these patterns and, with compassion and curiosity, consider whether there might be other ways of responding.
I don't see therapy as something I do to you. It is something we develop together through the relationship between us, including what happens between us in the therapy room.
You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis or a clearly defined problem. Sometimes we simply know that something isn't working, or that we don't feel quite like ourselves, and want to understand why.

A particular interest
Belonging is about how we experience ourselves in relation to others: our families, communities, cultures, relationships and the wider world. It can bring a sense of being seen, valued and accepted. Yet it can also involve adapting, hiding parts of ourselves, or feeling like an outsider.
In therapy we can explore where and how you belong, the experiences that have shaped your sense of connection, and what belonging means to you.
What does belonging feel like for me, and who can I be when I feel I belong?
If you'd like to talk about whether working together feels right for you, send me a short message. You don't need to explain everything now. I aim to respond within 48 hours.
